THE ST GEORGE'S FESTIVAL committee formed, primarily, to promote and enjoy our national day, St George's Day, 23rd April.
Our Scottish and Irish cousins recognise their Saints' days with special events and we thought it time to celebrate our unique English heritage and culture in Hedge End. As a result, we now organise events throughout the year open to all.
In the past we have organised :
Jousting Tournament; Banquet; Falconry displays, Re-enactments; Craft Markets; Concerts and Barn Dances.
